The thing about this guy, is nobody would give a shit (well, not nearly as much anyway) if he was batting 8th.
There is nothing wrong with a great defensive CF staying in the lineup, provided it's at the bottom of the lineup. Especially when he has HR pop, and really great speed batting in front of the P who can bunt him over when he gets on.
Swap Stubbs and Hanigan. Stubbs would go from a maddeningly frustrating top of the order guy, to being the most dangerous 8-hole hitter in the NL. Instead of a void in front of Votto, anything he contributes becomes a bonus.
