No word regarding the Rays. They typically stand pat at the trade deadline. AF, however, is very tight-lipped. IF anything happens, I doubt you'll hear much about it before it happens. Believe this though, they are getting calls about Shields, Hellickson and Davis. I think that if they make a move, Wade Davis will be the one to be shipped off ATM.

Phillies have faxed medical records for Blanton to the Orioles. They are also rumored to be looking at either Juan Pierre or Hunter Pence. Considering the Phillies want Jonathan Schoop, I'm not sure if Pence will happen, though a middle relief prospect could be enough for Blanton.

The Orioles & Blanton are like those two "friends" that constantly flirt and are always together, and everybody is like 'god, just fuck already'.

Did the Dodgers have a roster before two days ago? How can they keep adding all of these players?

Whenever the Reds are rumored to be in on guys, I can usually can immediately dismiss the rumor just based on no roster space/lack of easily disposable players on the team.
