Votto's two AB's with Hamilton in scoring position from yesterday, and a microcosm of what he faces from pitchers day to day:
In the first AB, the Cards were trying to pitch around him, and accidentally struck him out.
In the two AB's he saw 10 total pitches, saw maybe one strike, and took one swing. He walked once, and should have walked 1 1/2 times the other AB.
Swing more, herp derp.Comment

Jim Johnson is out as the A's closer. The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
If only I had died instead of you
O Absalom, my son, my son!"Comment

Yea, so interesting pitch tracking and analysis, but the guy is a career .314 hitter and hasn't failed to hit .300 or better over the course of a season since 2008. Pretty sure he should stick with what has been working for him.
