                            Atlanta score keeper extremely generous tonight. Not sure how that Simmons muff in the top of the fifth wasn't an error.
                            The king was shaken. He went up to the room over the gateway and wept.
                            As he went, he said: "O my son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom!
                            If only I had died instead of you
                            O Absalom, my son, my son!"

                                There were two obvious errors that he called hits. I think one eventually got changed, but the other stayed the same. Gotta keep that fielding percentage up!

                                        But official scorers are the worst. Which is why fielding percentage is kinda bunk.

                                            One of them was. The other was not. Fielding percentage is one of those things that needs to pass the eye test before being called bunk. Like Desmond, he's just booting balls. But if a guy like Simmons is going further in the hole than 95% of other SS's and fumbling the ball and getting charged with an error. For what it's worth, this was always the justification for keeping Desmond at SS. He has range and is athletic, but makes errors. Like the opposite of Jhonny Peralta.
