NCAA Basketball 09-10 Thread

Hoping to go to Texas A&M vs Okie State tonite....surprisngly, i havent gone to an OSU home game this season. Will prolly buy a 10 dollar regular admission ticket cuz i cant find any student tickets on sale :/

I find myself rooting for Syracuse, which I never have in my life, and thought I never would after watching Devedouche the last few years.

Okie State with a big win over Texas A&M. We playing real good basketball as of late. We got Mizzou on Saturday then host Texas on Monday. Beat Mizzou and we will have a lot of momentum heading into the Texas game. I havent been to a single OSU home game this semester but will not miss Texas when they come into town. Shit is gonna be live!

Downey was getting into the lane at will. Nobody on Kentucky could guard him (hell, they put Cousins on him a couple times). Why Cal didn't employ a zone once it was evident that guarding Downey man-to-man was as effective as a screen door on a submarine, I don't know.

On Patterson, he's not getting the fucking ball (especially in the last three games) and its starting to become a sore point with me. He's ranked in the top ten in offensive efficiency, but he's only getting the ball on 19% of Kentucky's possessions. He's become a role player on this team. Hell, Darnell Fucking Dodson gets more touches than Patterson, and that's just a travishamockery!

Vandy is very athletic and they tried to play zone vs him all game. He put 36 in them, that little guy is tough man.

I love how everyone forgets Syracuse lost to LeMoyne. Good for them it was an "exhibition" game.



I cant believe Uconn has 7 losses already, i was hoping they would have a good conference season to help UK's SOS.

Nova looked good taking care of ND tonight . Reynolds is easily the best player in the Big East right now for me.

UCONN got beat quite badly on the road to Providence and BYU aren't looking much like the 10th best team in the nation right now

Syracuse or Nova deserve a chance at being #1. Both have looked great lately,Villanova's perimeter is as good as you can get,the frontcourt is still a question,but they are a damn good team. Syracuse however I think may be the better team. Scoop Jardine,and Brandon Triche are a great point guard duo,along with one of the best shooters in the country Andy Rautins. Their inside game is good as well with Onuaku,and Jackson. Their sixth man Kris Joseph gives some big time minutes,and produces. Can't wait to see what hapens when they play

Add on possible BE POY in Wes Johnson and I agree that 'Cuse are looking real good.

Robert Morris hosts Long Island tonight in a big NEC match-up.

Right now the Colonials lead the conference with an 8-1 record, but their only loss came to LIU. I'll be working at the game and will provide an update afterward on how the contest went.

Should be a great one; I can't wait.
