KU barely escaped with a win over UCLA tonight after a bullshit foul put them on the line to win a tied ballgame. KU won their 64th straight at home and the refs obviously had money on KU or got incredible blow jobs from the student section.

Georgetown surprisingly blew out Utah St, and did it by only hitting one 3 pointer, which is flat out shocking. Hoyas are 8-0 with 3 resume wins already:
-NC St on a neutral floor
-Mizzou on the road
-Utah St at home

They are better without Monroe.
The chemistry is outstanding, and guys like Hollis Thompson & Henry Sims have taken huge leaps and gotten much better. Jason Clark is playing out of his mind, on the same level as Chris Wright and Austin Freeman. They are the best shooting team in the country.
Weakness is size. They start four G's, with Julian Vaughn the only big, and he's just barely above average. They will also have games where the 3's won't fall, and won't be able to just switch over to street ball and out run teams like they did to Utah St.
Monroe's two years, in spite of all of those regular season wins, resulted in one NCAA Tournament game, and that was a loss. This is the first team JT3 has had that has the type of shooting and passing that his Princeton offense demands. The Hibbert/Green/Wallace team was a traditional NBA style team, and the Monroe teams were built around the big man. This is a vintage Princeton style team with NBA level talent. A lot of fun to watch.Comment

RMU @ WVU going on right now. WVU had to be faggots and not give us any tickets for this game, hence why I'm still on campus.
RMU is without senior Gary Wallace, who has a broken finger, and junior Lawrence Bridges, who has a concussion. That limits the Colonials' depth from 10 deep to 8, and also makes the only active players freshmen or sophomores.

It was a real close game in the first half, but WVU's size really just took over in the second. When Deon Turman plays meaningful minutes, you know you're fucked.
Karon Abraham was rusty as hell off of suspension and leading scorer Russell Johnson was terrible all game. We're going to need Bridges and Wallace back soon (particularly Bridges) because we're already undersized, but without him to come off the bench, we're horrid inside.
