Might as well start it up now, since we've been getting into Midnight Madness last week.

RMU has their "Midnight Madness" tomorrow night...really looking forward to it. Despite the season-long suspension of junior guard Karon Abraham, we have enough firepower and have a strong recruiting class to claim back our throne as the king of the NEC. Long Island, CCSU and Wagner will be tough challenges as well.

Wade, Mathews, Hayward, Butler, and Novak were all at Marquette Madness, it was a good time.

The expectations for this team are probably the highest since the Final Four year. I am optimistic and fully expect another tourney bid, but our depth definitely could be lacking especially since Buzz typically hates playing freshman.

Im excited to be ranked top 5, have multiple nba draft picks on the roster and still not win the national title again.


Wiltjer is bringing the sky hook back to college hoops, im excited to see that. I can really see him being a Kyle Singler type 4 year contributor who is a star as an upperclassman.





Calipari seemed really excited to be at Midnight Madness the first two years, this year he seemed like it was a pain in his ass when he was making his speech. I appreciate that for all the hate that Calipari gets he actually makes his kids go to class. Transfer Ryan Harrow says he never went to class at NC St and now hes working harder than ever having to go to practice and class ,lol. Shhhh dont tell the media but UK had the highest APR in the SEC, sorry they tied Vandy and were in the 80th percentile of college basketball.
