Has anybody asked Allan Houston how his knees are doing? Maybe he wants to come down from the owner's box and give a come back one more try. We're going to ball like it's 1999!

Between this and Carmelo calling the contract ridiculous it seems pretty clear what the "locker room" wants. Hopefully they will all be prepared to play next season because if Lin walks and they get off to a slow start next season, the media and fan base is going to shit on them.

Some of the Knick beat guys are suggesting Lin never wanted to come back in the first place, mainly because of Woodson's offense.

              Grant Hill????? oy vay..............

It begs the question: Why sign that offer sheet as constructed when you know it's going to fuck the team over down the line if you fully intended to come back? I don't begrudge him getting paid, but that's dirty pool.

As we've seen in the past with Dolan, he's big on loyalty and holds grudges. But then again, he could change his mind at the last minute - he's a weird cat.

Yeah, this is a completely weird situation to read. Did Dolan get his feelings hurt or did Woodson pull a powerplay at the first opportunity he could?

Would be almost comical if after all the hoopla Lin caused, they end up losing him for nothing.

Its funny how reports are coming out that Lin wanted to stay, yet he signed a deal with that 3rd year kicker. I'm not knocking the guy for getting his money, but he didn't have to agree to a contract structured like that.

Lin said himself he wanted to stay - then why not take the Knicks offer? He and his agent should have known the 'poison pill' contract would tick Dolan off. Once that happened it was over.

Knicks success depends on Carmelo & Amar'e finding some way to co-exist. Right now we have two mismatched stars who thrive in two different offenses. If they can't figure it out, Knicks are toast, no matter who's at point.

These stans who think the Knicks will fall apart without Jeremy Lin are an embarrassment. They're making us NY basketball fans look bad.

Knicks sign Ronnie Brewer to a 1-year deal for the veterans minimum.

Amazing deal. I like how Smith and Brewer are polar opposites, one known for his offense and the other for his defense. The duo could work until Shump comes back from his injury.
