I liked the effort on defense - they were hustling, they were tough and physical. They lost it in the third - Rondo and Bass killed them, but Carmelo came to the rescue in the fourth.

The backcourt's going to be a big problem.

D was great in the first and fourth.

It was ass-tastic in the second and third.

They got a lot of work to do.

With Shumpert hurt, they may have interest in claiming Jeremey Lin off waivers.

UPDATE: They have claimed Lin off waivers.

Golden State wanted to bring him back if no one claimed him.

We'll be fine in the backcourt as soon as Baron Davis is able to play in 2016

Jeremy Lin had a really good summer league a few years ago.....I recall John Wall struggling to contain him.

Jeremy Lin = John Wall Killa!

When Tyson Chandler sits, our interior is cotton soft.....I was also a bit troubled by his history of staying in foul trouble when we signed him.....if he's not on the court in the 4th quarter.......

Also doesn't help when Melo & Amare can't sink a shot to save their lives.

This team has no offense flow when I watch them. It's one pass try to beat the person 1 on 1 every time.

I'm sorry I stayed up to watch that game......our offense is

Iso Melo, 4 other guys stand around

                      or

Iso Stat, 4 other guys stand around

                      or

Melo as the point forward which definitely will not work.....that is so far out his comfort zone

No one's cutting to the basket, the ball doesn't swing around the perimeter.....I watched that Dallas/OKC game earlier, those guys were whipping the ball around, it's beautiful to watch.....our offense is just stagnant and very easy to defend against.....they never gave LA anything to think about on defense

D'Antoni is supposed to be an offensive genius, but going back to last season all he's shown me is, he doesn't know how to utilize his two stars in his offense.....

Amare sprained his ankle and is not 100% for tomorrow in Sacramento.

Here's more shitting on our shitty offense...

An offensive minded coach needs to coach the offense. Clearly, this team cannot just go lace them up and play. Melo and STAT together have yet to work effectively. STAT was terrible today. He was 4-17 from the field, 2 rebs, and 4 TOs. Most of his shots were forced 1-on-1 moves from isolation or he settled for deep jumpers. The few times he made aggressive moves to the basket, he finished with authority or got fouled (6-6 FTs). Today their offense was even more stagnant than in the Golden State game. D’Antoni has to earn his money here. How can he make Amare consistently move without the ball? How can he mix in Carmelo as a point-forward while also having him come off screening action away from the ball? How does he get Chandler involved in the pick and roll game? The only time this team is good on offense is when they run off missed shots or turnovers. In the half court, it was nearly unwatchable last night. Every possession was a challenge. They did not share the ball well, move without the ball, or create shots for one another consistently. It is not enough to assemble a team with some talented guys; they need to be coached and taught how to maximize their talents together. I know it’s only game 3, but they need to start to make strides each game by playing offense as a unit for extended periods of time.

Not having a true PG hurts, but there was better ball movement last night against the Kings. The Harrelson kid had a solid game.

Knicks are pinning their hopes on Baron Davis, but to be honest, I was never a big fan of his game. I don't look at him as a true facilitator like Kidd. I wonder how much he has left.

When one of our stars isn't in the game, the offense flows better
