They're not getting both, they may get 1.

They could get both if both Paul and Howard basically said they won't resign with anyone else but the Lakers. I'm sure fans don't like this, but due to what happened in Miami teams are going to have to load up to compete with James and Wade going forward.Comment
-
The way the money structure works they'd both have to take significant paycuts to make it happen.Comment

Wade, James and Bosh took paycuts. I wouldn't be surprised to see Howard and Paul do it, as they can recoupe a lot of money simply on endorsements. The players know they're going to have to team upand with that they understand they're going to have to take less money to really have any real shot at a championship, so I could see it happen.Comment

That fucker. Knicks gave up a 1st round motherfucking pick to acquire his old ass.

Alot of rumor buzz now that I'm not liking, curry(or possibly ellis), klay and Udoh, for CP3. Picking up alot of steam right now. I'd like to have Tyson Chandler, but I don't want to give up Curry or Ellis at any costs. CP3 doesn't want to go to LA or Oakland without Chandler or supporting cast right now.Comment

Trading either Curry or Monta along with Thompson and Udoh for Cp3 is a trade the Warriors have to make immediately if they are able to resign Paul.Comment

Supposedly, the Hornets will make a decision on trading Paul by Friday.
No matter where he goes, I don't see Paul giving any team assurance he'll stay. He can make more money by opting out after the season.
From realgm...
The Clippers would have to include restricted free agent DeAndre Jordan, Al-Farouq Aminu, Eric Bledsoe and the 2012 first round pick from the Wolves to acquire Paul.
Paul would reportedly prefer the Clippers over the Warriors because of the chance of being paired with Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon.
Golden State is offering Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Ekpe Udoh to the Hornets.

There is no way Paul would want to go to GS....especially if they have to give up Curry, Ellis , Thompson and Udoh to do it. He might as well just stay in New Orleans if that happens. I'd be willing to bet his first priority is:
1. New York Knicks
2. LA Lakers
3. Wherever Dwight Howard goes unless it's New Jersey.
IMO, Orlando should push hard for Paul, as they have a lot of pieces. Doing this may entice Howard to stay. I don't understand why Orlando seems content with letting Howard walk so easily.Comment

Why is Jersey faring so poorly? Billionaire owner, a move to Brookyln, I figured everyone would want to play for them...Comment
-
ESPN is now saying both LAC and GS are hesitant to offer their big pieces to NO unless Paul gives some assurances he'll stick around, or even exercise his 2012-13 option.
The Clippers have not offered DeAndre Jordan or Eric Gordon and GS has not offered Steph Curry.
Another rumor that the Hornets may be willing to take Pau Gasol for Paul.

Don't get me wrong. I think Watson is a fine backup point guard, but a starting shooting guard on a team looking to win an NBA championship he is not.Comment

If the Clippers only have to give up Aminu, Bledsoe, Jordan and a pick, they HAVEEEE to make that move, then go out and sign Tyson Chandler. These rumours ive been hearing for Paul are MUST make trades for the teams receiving Cp3.Comment
