I don't get the Wade hate. He may get overlooked by Lebron, but he had a fantastic season. 21/5/5, shooting with GREAT efficiency.

It's not some crazy shit that Wade beat him out by any means.

Curry played in more games, played more minutes and had a better season.

Wade shot a dismal 25% from long range. Curry shot 45% while shooting nearly the same percentage from beyond the arc. That's just stupid awesome.

Curry's TS% was better. eFG was better. His WS was also better.

Wade had a better PER and had some better defensive numbers but Curry had easily the better season.

Comparing their 3PTs? They are completely different types of players. I don't care if Wade shot 0% from deep, he shot less than one a game.

Curry is the flashier player, which draws more attention, but Wade had a fantastic season himself.

Good call. We should never discuss a scoring guards versatility to score from different places from the floor.

Wade is a two way player, Curry is a great offensive player no doubt but his defense leaves a lot to be desired. So I see why people would regard Wade as a better all around player.

For the same reason they removed it from the All Star Game you should pretty much remove it from the All-NBA teams as well. There's only a handful of guys that you can completely consider "Centers". It's just not a focal point anymore (with good reason).

This year Wade really wasn't that much better than Curry on defense according to most ratings/stats. He was about .5 WS better. And the an estimated 4PPG better on defense. The difference was negligible IMO. Wade isn't the player he used to be on defense. He's still got the rep but he's not the same.
