Yeah restricted free agency is a good thing for teams, it allows them to hang onto their young stars for longer.

Great now were stuck with Jennings for at least a year hopefully the Bucks don't give the him an extension and he ends up signing the qualifying offer and then we only get him for year.

Randy Whitman on the radio yesterday said wizards are currently in trade talks with another team about moving a player or two as well as making some free agent additions. He seemed pretty excited when he was talking about it and was convinced the wizards aren't done making moves this off season.

This could mean 2 things.
A) we finally found a suitor for one of our terrible contracts (god I hope it's Nenes, love the player hate the contract) and are hoping to bring in some free agent bigs.
B) we move a no name like jan vesely or Chris singleton and bring in some vet minimums later in the off season who will have little to no impact.

Wizards are targeting Dejuan Blair in a sign and trade with SA. Supposed players that would be included (any combination of..) Seraphin, Booker, Singleton or Vesely. Some people think it'll be Ariza but his contract is too big, I would hope the Wizards don't give Balir 7 mill a year. Plus that big of an expiring could be used at the trade deadline to get someone decent.

I wouldn't mind seeing Blair on the roster. We need rebounding which is what he brings. Can't be worse than Booker or Seraphin.
