LeBron is not going to the Lakers. Why would he go to LA to help Kobe win another championship? Miami puts James in a better situation to win. James has to stay with Miami, because he needs to be identified with a franchise.

Lol at having Kobe and Carmello Anthony on the same team........please. Melo enjoys playing in NY and he already is a much maligned player and that would only worsen going to LA. Also, Anthony hates (and rightfully so) D'Antoni. LA chose Pringles over Howard (who they should have built around), so why would they dump him now for a lesser player in Anthony?

Paul George comes across as a guy who will want to stay in Indiana.

Jim Buss is an idiot and certainly not his dad, because if his dad was still alive they would have did the right thing for the franchise and kept Howard. Right now LA still has the glamour and mystic, but lets not forget that was built on the back and vision of Jerry Buss.

TBH, I agree. The caliber of player they need to bring in isn't going to subject themselves to playing the "lil bro" role that Kobe tries to create. Kobe isn't ready to play second fiddle, but he no longer is good enough to carry a team. There are some things that Kobe has to accept if the franchise is going to be successful, but I don't think he is ready to accept that.

This was taken out of context in an interview he did on ESPN radio. He also said this “My heart is still in Indiana,” the 23-year-old said. “… I’m still a Pacer, and hopefully I remain a Pacer. I’m happy where I’m at.”

There isn't really a place for this, but for all you pacer fans here at vsn.. (I can think of only 2) Here is a tribute video to show just how dominant the Pacers were a few years ago. Enjoy!

Scott Skiles wasn't a good coach?

Even if you consider Skiles a good coach his reputation has always been that he's very rigid and doesn't necessarily connect well with young players.
