Certain programs should just never storm the court.

      Duke
      UNC
      Kentucky
      Indiana
      UCLA

Two of those have this year, unless I've missed another one.

Because they're a blue blood program and they look fucking petty storming the court at any time, let alone after a win against their biggest rivals.

There is absolutely nothing I like about BYU. They all carry themselves like pretentious rich a-holes.

Because when you are a top 5 program all-time and have won multiple national championships, a win in February shouldn't be grounds for storming.

UNC should have March/April goals every year not rushing in February.

Rushing is admitting you did not expect to win the game. UNC is a Top 5 program all-time, and entered the season ranked in the Top 10. There is NO excuse, and NO reason for that storm.

This isn't the first time, not even in recent history, that UNC has rushed against Duke... shit they once rushed when they were ranked higher than Duke.

The whole rules for storming thing is so overblown. It's fun... a lot of fun. And when a building has as much energy as the Dean Dome had last night & it culminates in a court storm, it's pretty cool to see.

That "rule" is overblown completely. It was a great win for the Heels, let the kids have fun. I liked the fact it added a bit a fuel to the fire as far as the rivalry goes. Something had to spice things up a bit. It is what it is.

Great win but not storm worthy. FFS, your 5 years removed from a national title and have won the ACC title (regular season) 5 of the last 7. When you're accustomed to winning you don't storm over a February win.

Trust me, the storm surprised me as well. Must of been a heat of the moment thing, seems like a small group started and others said fuck it and followed.

Iowa State 2-0 this week, Texas 0-2.

Hello tie for 2nd place, woot. Whatever keeps away Kansas until the Big 12 championship game is good with me.

Pitt is 20-6 in the ACC, and yet Lunardi lists them on his bubble watch. "Still have work to do"

Teams that should be in: North Carolina
Work left to do: Pittsburgh, Florida State

Pittsburgh [20-6 (8-5), RPI: 33, SOS: 50] Speaking of weird, lopsided profiles: The Panthers are 1-6 against the RPI top 50 and 19-0 against teams ranked 50 or below. Sunday's home game against Florida State won't move the needle. Actually, save a possible late RPI boost for NC State (which would be immaterial anyway) the Panthers have zero opportunities for top-50 wins in the rest of the regular season. They'll probably get in the tournament, but their seed will be far lower than it could have been if any of their tight marquee losses (to Cincinnati, Virginia, UNC or Syracuse twice) had gone the other way.

                                -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL. The idea that Jamie Dixon "games" the RPI is one of the biggest myths in all of sports. Pitt's entire resume, year after year, is predicated on what they do in conference. So when they play in a shitbag league like the ACC happens to be this year, and they don't win a single tough game, what you get is a 20 win team that has the worst RPI of any 20 win team in the country, and finds itself firmly on the bubble counting on beating mighty NC State to "boost" their pathetic resume.

Think about this. Pitt plays 15-11 Florida St Sunday (at 15-11 FSU actually has the stronger resume to most experts), and if Pitt loses they will fall from the 8/9 line (which is pathetic enough for a 20-6 ACC team), to flirting with "last four in" territory. A loss to NC State, and there is a decent chance Pitt could be something like 21-9 and miss the tournament.

If Dixon wants to "game" the RPI, he should do it the way other big time coaches do it. Play a real schedule, dope.
