Rivers is a winner , something i dont see in Brees at all . He was asked to lead the team this year without LT being on form and what do you know , he goes and leads the NFL in alot of the Major stats. He completly lit it up last year in his first year of being asked to be the leader of the offense . And dont mention the 8-8 record , Im suprised they managed 8wins with that shitty ass defense
What does Rivers have? 3 or 4 times more playoff wins than Bress has in the last 8years?
Dont get me wrong I dont hate Brees as much as some people on here ;) but I would certainly have Rivers , Manning , Brady and Ben ahead of himComment

He has a better team come on now. You cant really say brees isnt a winner when the guys around him arent helping. That was the argument against manning before he got his ring..."he isnt a winner". And what do you know...the year he gets a defense, he wins a ring...in spite of how he played. Now rivers or brees supporting cast isnt that good, but rivers clearly has the edge. Later on in the season, the chargers made a turnaround as well, mainly on the defensive side as they got a new cordinator. Brees has had the same shitty defense for what, 2 years now. Last year he was throwing to a bunch of number 2s and 3s and almost broke dan marinos passing record. The saints were in playoff talks untill the bears saints game where his defense was owned by hester. Hes been performing as a top 5 qb for a while, hes been consistent, so thats why I give him the edge over Big Ben and Rivers. Consistency is the best judge of talent and Brees has been just that.
Peyton was actually the king of the 4th qtrs in the reg season before he got his ring unlike Brees who is still NOT the King of any 4th qtr
The Saints were an outside playoff shot before the Bears game lol , not a mainstream contender . And he broke a PASSING YARDS record , he threw for a shitload of yards in a system that opens up the whole book to him which is fair enough . Passing Yards isint as important as td/int , 4th qtr and so on
Im not saying hes a bad qb , hes just not in my top 5Comment

Lmao, the Saints had a better defense than the Chargers last year, and the Chargers played against better defenses as well. The only thing Brees is consistent at is missing the playoffs. Calling Brees more consistent than Ben is laughable. Ben is 8-2 in the playoffs, only missing them once. So, metaphorically speaking, our physiology basically has the universe mapped out and you're thinking it needs to be taught addition & subtraction.

And when you talk about wins and losts you can't disregard the obvious, there has to be some resemblance of a defense for success. But we digress, Romo sucks donkey nuts, and is only hyped cuz of Dallas and his chubby gfComment

Ben bens team is way better? Football is a team sport or is it not? Big Ben has had a squad since he came into the league. His rookie year the steelers went 15-1. You know damn well they didnt win that many games because of him. He managed games yes, but was he elite as in top 5 no. lol trent dilfer has ring. Dilfer>brees?
Big Ben
2008 17 tds 15 ints 60% completion percentage
2007 32 tds 11 ints 65%
2006 18 tds 23 ints 60%
his rookie year 17 tds 11 ints. 295 passing attempts
And all this big ben talk. You act like its the pittsburgh big bens. No Its the pittsburgh steelers..once againt emphasizing team. When has big ben not had a defense that wasnt top 15 in the league? And his running game. Up untill this year big ben always had a running back to take the pressure off of him. Is a running game not a qbs best friend?
Check out drew brees's states
34 tds 17 ints 65% 413 completions 635 attempts. Those numbers are amazing. Numbers that show that the qb is the teams leader on offense. Its his offensive unit.
Im not saying that the steelers offense wasnt big bens last year because it was. His o line was horrid. Any other qb would of died behind that line. But brees has carried the offense on his shoulders for the past few years now.
