Kyle Orton is fucking terrible

Orton's a victim of the garbage QB development that's been happening in Chicago since the start of their franchise. I'm going to be upset if they fuck it up for Jay Cutler too.

As far as the game yesterday went, Orton drove the length of the field on the first drive and than made the bad throw in the endzone, and really it was also a good play by the defender. Orton's second drive he drove 30 yards and then ended in another terrible throw. The third drive was garbage for Orton after the 1 play. The fourth drive covered three first downs before punting. Not sure what you were watching, but hardly "horrible". He moved the chains and had a very good 3rd down conversion. He made 3 glaring mistakes.

If he doesn't fix those terrible mistakes he made, he won't be the QB in Denver, simple as that. I wouldn't say he was horrible, he just makes idiotic Brian Griese mistakes. But he'll have to iron that out if he wants to QB this team..

Please don't back up Orton... He's a back up QB at best... He's not the long term solution at QB for Denver, probably not even the entire season solution this year...

I'm backing up McDaniels. Fuck Orton. McDaniels knows more about QB's than any one of us do here. Right now he's staying with Orton. If the time comes to move on to Simms this year, then so be it.

I surely don't think he's the QB of the future for Denver, but that's not of major concern for us right now. We need to develop a defense and special teams. Then I think McDaniels has the team he wants and he'll be on a shorter leesh as far as the QB position goes. Hopefully he finds a QB that can actually score in the redzone and not turn it over. We haven't seen one of those here in Denver since Elway.

McDaniel's is like a fuckin woman he thinks he can fix damage goods....

McDaniels has a great system and anyone who couldn't see that yesterday wasn't watching the game.

On a sidenote, looks like Jay Cutler's accuracy down the field hasn't improved any in the offseason.

Why are you on this guys nuts its game one of the preseason I don't care if god himself came down and ran McDaniel's system to perfection I'd still be skeptical because it still fucking game one of the preseason!

That's what I said before week 14 last year and week 17 in 2006.

Fact is Jay Cuntler doesn't really do that great after mid season and hasn't shown he can win a game on the big stage, i.e. a playoff like game.

Sure he could always put up good numbers, but then again he had a Hall of Fame coach and offensive mastermind calling plays and loading up the with offensive weapons.

Again.. what else did you want Cutler to do with a defense that couldnt stop the other team? Cutler wasnt even playing bad during the Broncos meltdown.. the defense was just especially horrendous.

McDaniels has done everything right as far as the camps go. He even works on defense and special teams a little bit. I bet Dove Valley hasn't seen those drills since 1998.

Actually I live right next to Dove Valley so I go to training camp 5-6 times a year and I've always seen them practice Spacial teams and Defense. The difference between Shanahan and McDaniel's is that camp is 10x more physical they have been hitting since day one.

I know the guy is a talented kid but it's still early is all I'm saying so don't get so damn cocky. Trust me I've been there done that with Cuntler and he let me down. The D was bad but all he had to do last year is throw one fucking TD vs the shitty Bills at home...

2 TD's 4 int's, a QB rating hovering in the low 70's, and a ypp of around 6.3 isn't bad? Maybe not for Chicago Bears QB's, but not the rest of the NFL.

He flamed out just as bad as the defense towards the end of year, but then again, that's what he did best in big games.

If you know Cuntler at all you know he's going to throw a lot of INT's no matter if he's playing from behind or with no running game or defense. He's not going to have less INT's this year just because CHI has a good D and a good running game, trust me. He prides himself on his rocket arm and he throws balls that he shouldn't... He doesn't take much stock in his INT total and often jokes about how he makes dumb throws that he shouldn't because he thinks his arm is that good. He always makes parralles and compares himself to Brett Favre in this area. You'll find out soon enough...
