O-Line played a hell of a lot better last week. Diehl is coming back this week so they should only get better. Can't wait to cut that bum Bass who has sat on the bench with injuries more than hes been on the field since hes signed with the Giants.

looks like I might of spoke too soon

Chris Snee needs season-ending (and possibly career-ending) hip surgery

Chris Snee, a veteran of two Super Bowls and a fixture on the Giants' offensive line for the last decade, needs season-ending surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right hip, and because of that he may have played his last game in the NFL.

The 31-year-old Pro Bowl guard suffered the injury at some point during the Giants first few games of the season, and it turned out to be a near mirror image of the injury he fought through last season on the other side of his body. That injury required surgery, and playing through it was so painful that he admitted thinking about retirement.

According to a source familiar with Snee's thinking, he hasn't given much thought to his long-term future yet. He is signed through the 2014 season, though. It's unclear if the Giants would welcome him back, though if they did it would likely be at a drastic reduction of the $7.2 million salary he's currently scheduled to earn.

Snee had hoped to play again this season, but a source said last week he "couldn't move" which is why he couldn't play in the Giants' 31-7 loss in Kansas City last Sunday. There was slight improvement early in the week, but not nearly enough to give anyone much hope. Given the extreme pain he was in, according to a source, doctors advised him to have the torn labrum repaired and bone chips removed.

When the move is officially made, it will clear a roster spot for linebacker Jon Beason, whom the Giants' acquired on Thursday night.
also looks like Baas will have season-ending surgery as well (neck injury)

Giants haven't been this bad in years....0-5.....forget about playoffs. No running game, Eli's playing like a rookie, and the Giants haven't had a pass rush since 2011.

just the problem with free agency etc. The Giants wont suck for 5 years. They will regroup and improve...if not till next year. It is what it is ya know.

was actually hoping Giants would do NFC east a favor and beat the Eagles yesterday.......
i didnt think Giants would have just gave up after making it a game again.
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining

I agree 100%.. Gilbride needs to go right now to wake up this team. That dam shotgun draw get's on my last nerve. I think Fewel is not that bad. If we had LB's and the offense managed to sustain a long drive. Reese is in trouble. Did you see that LB the Jets got in the 3rd last night. Dude has led the team in tackles and he was drafted in the 3rd round. We need to take some fliers on some Fast LB's.

Methinks the two Super Bowls they won with rosters that weren't all that imposing on paper gave Reese a false sense of security......he thought he could plug anyone in there off the scrap heap and we'd win but that's not the case this year.....seems like the Patriots are the only team that can use that forumula and be successful.....

Eli, where's the confidence? You have two super bowl rings, act like it fucktard. Grow a sack and play like a man. He's shook.

Also, the miscommunication between wideouts and Eli, when did this start? Looks like this is the last year with Hakeem, a shame.

JACOBS! Where did that come from. That was vintage BJ, and not talking about 2011, I'm talking about '08. O-line keeps improving, a lot of holes for Jacobs to fit through tonight. How bout that 2nd and 10 run in the fourth, where it looked like he was going to get tackled for a loss of a yard like usual, instead just dove through the hole for a 3 yard gain. Impressive. This is coming from a guy who was still hating real hard all the way up to last week, I wanted McGahee.

-Definitely fault Eli on that throw, but Martellus would of caught that just sayin
-After seeing that one tackle from behind, Jon Beason is the fastest Giant linebacker in years
-Will Hill is a great tackler

0-6. Lolwut. Thank god we've been spoiled enough to steal a few super bowls lately. Tonight's game was fun, finally saw some heart.

It is amazing what having 2 superbowls will do for a guy. Eli is about as bad as Schaub right now.

no of course he isn't. Theres a million reasons why what ever is happening is happening. But Eli just ends up looking bad because of it. He didn't just lose his abilities all of the sudden. The entire team is a mess, how is that his fault ?

rams is right. Eli deserves some of the blame, but the whole team is shit - shaky o-line, thin at running back & tight end, ZERO pass rush, no stud linebackers & a weak secondary. Yeah that last pass was high, but a real tight end makes the catch. Reese should be catching most of the heat. The cats he brought in haven't gotten it done. Why the fuck is Myers on this team? Why waste a pick on a QB?

Seeing posts on Facebook & Twitter saying Eli should be benched makes me ashamed to be a Giants fan. Like Curtis Painter's the answer. Dumbasses.
