If so, a shitty end to a great Giants career. Was a dominant guard for several years.

That's the nature of the game.

Props to Snee - he did great for Big Blue.

David Wilson's football career is over at age 23.

For all the off-season moves they made, Giants still have holes on the O-Line, especially at LT. I have no faith in Will Beatty. WTF was Reese thinking giving him big money?

Don't get me started on the tight ends.

The OL will determine if this is a playoff team. Block for Eli and he'll be fine, safe for some head scratcher passes to nobody. What about the run game, that rookie should be a solid addition and Jennings has his shot to be the guy. Sick of seeing no run game from them, but who knows with the new OC.

I'm really worried about the offense. They have no deep threat because Beckham can't get on the field (who knows when he'll be ready), the tight ends are horrible, and I have no faith in the O-line.

Despite last night's win, Giants have big problems going into the season. But I like this Washington kid.

                Gonna be a looooooooooong year...

And it's time Jerry Reese started feeling some heat too. His recent drafts have been poor and giving big money to that stiff Will Beatty was ridiculous.

Mike Francesca brought up an interesting point. He doesn't think Coughlin signed off on this new offense - it came from higher up. Makes sense - why institute an offense that doesn't suit your QB's style?

Aside from all the problems on offense, how about the joke of a defense after week 1, hopefully it's more about Calvin Johnson being the best than their lack of pressure and inability to over.

I'm not throwing in the towel just yet. Poor defense was due to some blown assignments, not surprising from a such a new squad. Offense did show some flashes of life, swing passes may become part of the offense for the first time. I liked what I saw from Jennings. It all rides on the o-line and Eli.

Soooo....... Do the Giants go 1-15 get the number 1 pick in the draft and then priced to clean house?

No, they'll finish 8-8 in order to avoid getting a decent draft pick...

I saw this coming, and folks said I was being negative. Giants haven't cleaned up their mistakes from pre-season. Now Beason's hurt and Jernigan's done for the year.

Hey Victor Cruz, quit whining about the fans and catch the fucking ball.

From a fantasy perspective, Ruben Randle should get more targets this season now right? I have him on the bench but not sure how much I trust the New York offense.

In theory, sure, he's the #2 guy who will be on the field just as much as Cruz. But, it's all about whether Eli & Randle are on the same page, whether the OL gives Eli enough time and a million other factors.

Depending on who your other wideouts are, he should be more of a week to week spot start when necessary than relying on him each game.

I have a feeling Eli will get to know JJ Watt real well tomorrow.
