3) Will Hakeem Nicks stay healthy?
4) What can Big Blue expect from the two running-backs?
5) Can the two backs pick up the blitz as well as Bradshaw did?
6) Can the offensive line be a dominant force?

David Diehl out 6 weeks...

Giants OL David Diehl (thumb surgery) will be out six weeks.
Diehl practiced on Tuesday with a cast on his right hand. After an MRI, it was determined that he would undergo surgery on Wednesday afternoon. Although the Giants have now lost Diehl and starting center David Baas (knee) for the early part of the season, their line still projects to be solid. Rookie Justin Pugh, veteran Kevin Boothe and second-year man James Brewer are all capable fill-ins.

4) What can Big Blue expect from the two running-backs? - Oline injuries say bad. Brown looks good though in pre season
5) Can the two backs pick up the blitz as well as Bradshaw did? - no
6) Can the offensive line be a dominant force? - With Diehl and Bass out...trouble

I still think the Giants rely on the big play too much. We need that run game and that WR that can make those big 3rd down catches (NICKS). Can Myers be a 3rd down guy as well?

In order to get the run/short yardage game going, the O-line has to do its job. And we need Gilbride to stay committed to the run.

The good news is the other NFC east teams have plenty of questions too. Nine or ten wins might clinch the division.

a combination of ryan mundy/david caldwell/tyler sash i would assume with will hill being suspended for the first 4 games

linebacker/secondary were two of the biggest problems on the team last year...and they still will be this year

sidenote - eagles have released kenny phillips. wonder if the giants would bring him back (if his release isnt injury related)

4th preseason game..always the worst. i am interested to see how Nassib plays though since he hasnt looked that great this preseason. Coughlin said Nassib will be the second QB in and will play with the second team offense.
