Giants are supposedly meeting with Plaxico. I'm sure Coach Coughlin is thrilled with that. Giants front office is scared shitless of Burress going to their division rivals, Dallas, Philly or Washington. I'm worried too. I don't want to see Plaxico catching passes from Vick or Romo.

Apparently, Rocky Bernard did not want to restructure so he will be cut.

I wouldn't worry about us targeting Plaxico. We have absolutely zero use for that guy. Not a single thing he can do on the field at this point in his career that Dez Bryant and Miles Austin can't, quite frankly.

And if you're talking about sheer height, well, Martellus Bennett covers that...and he's probably faster at this point in time.

Jeff Roberts reports Diehl is moving to LG, as expected.

Giants have signed draft pick Da'Rell Scott RB from Maryland. Plus, they announced the signing of UDFA RB Keith Payne out of Virginia. He's a 6'3 back!

Not that it matters now, but when they were in highschool I watched Payne dominate Percy Harvin in a state championship matchup....sadly that was probably the highlight of his football career. The Giants will probably move him to FB.

DE-OLB Mathias Kiwanuka(notes) is re-signing with the Giants, according to a tweet by his teammate, DT Justin Tuck(notes).

Tuck wrote on his account Thursday morning, "Kiwi is returning to the big blue. Yes sir." Mike Garafolo of the New Jersey Star-Ledger confirmed the report, stating that it was a two-year contract, pending a physical. No information on salary has been reported, though Garafolo states it is a incentive-laden deal.

Kiwanuka registered four sacks in the first three games last season, but missed the remainder of the year due to a herniated disk in his neck, forcing him to go on injured reserve.

Two year deal for an incentive laden contract is a bargain for you guys.

Keeping Kiwanuka is a relief, hopefully he can stay on the field because he's shown signs of becoming a great DE.

Apparently we're negotiating with Brad Maynard. Hopefully this means Dodge is left in a ditch somewhere along the Jersey Turnpike.

Giants cut Madison Hedgecock and he will likely be forced to retire because of health issues (back, hamstring).

Seems like a great guy, so if he's that hurt, he definitely should move on while he can still have a good enough day-to-day life.

                          Well fuck...

Disgruntled Giants DE Osi Umenyiora will not show up for his physical Friday morning.
No surprise here. Umenyiora either wants a raise or a trade and is prepared to stage a holdout. Dealing Umenyiora is going to be extremely difficult as the Giants won't be able to get equal value and his new team would have to be willing to meet those hefty contract demands. This has a chance to get ugly.

Scratch that, we just signed Steve Weatherford. Expect lots of fake punts from our own endzone.

                            Matt Dodge...

Umenyiora is ending his holdout later tonight, but still loathes Reese (he truly believes he has lied to him).

I don't expect him to be happy, he still wants a new deal/trade...still not sure if he ends up playing for them this year.

Giants have given Osi and his people permission to seek a trade.
