Thank you Giants, for officially ruining my Christmas vacation - I haven't been this pissed since the 49er playoff game. We had a nice two-year run(SB title, 12-4 the following year), but now it's time to back up the truck and clean house. Defense/O-Line needs a complete overhaul. I'm so glad Mr. Mara canned Sheridan's ass - Gilbride should go to.

New Giants DC is Perry Fewell who was expected to go to Chicago in that same role and was even a candidate for the Bills HC job.

One hundred years provides more than several lifetimes full of highlights, some lowlights, and many memories. Here’s a look at 100 years of the Western Golf Association and the Western Open. …

Below is an article talking about him as a coach

Thought for sure he was your guy.

Who's left? I don't think you guys have the parts to switch to a 3-4.

He's not a 3-4 guy, usually he's said to be a cover 2 guy who can use other looks.

Brandon Spikes would look sweet in Giant blue. He's what the doctor ordered. Is Rolando McClain coming out this year?

              I know that.

I was making reference to the interest in guys like Capers, Crennell, Sutton, etc.

oh, yeah, your surprise was shared by most GMen fans. Giants clearly do not have the pieces to go 3-4 (lack ILBs and OLBs, Kiwanuka proved he could not play at LB).

Assuming the Fewell hire is official, it's a better hire.

Yep, McClain is coming out. No doubt if he's available @ 15, the Giants jump at the chance to take him. But most places I've seen have him going earlier.

As for Spikes, he isn't seen as a guy who could go as high in the first round. He's more of a late 1st-2nd round guy.

Of course, the Combine will go a long way in finalizing who has momentum going into April.

In addition, I hope they give our young guys like Clint Sintim and Jonathan Geoff a chance to at least see if they have the goods

Apparently, Fewell to the Giants is not done just yet.

                            It's done per Vacchiano

Amani Toomer was on WFAN before and told this fucked up story about the 2000 Super Bowl.

He said the night before the game, the defense went to Fassel and wanted to be introduced first b/c they felt they were the reason they were in the game. The offense found out and were pissed off at the defense. Toomer said it was not a good thing to be apart of.

I remember things being lacking under Fassel but damn, he really did have little control.
