The Vikings won't be in the playoffs nor will they be serious contenders if they do make it. Brett Favre has sucked the latter half of the season for the last few years. He'll tank at some point in the season, but the good news about it they at least have AP to run ragged to keep them afloat. This is a lateral move at best. In '07 Favre went 13-3 and had one of if not the best statistical playoff game of his career against the Seahawks at home in the snow. Last year he looked just as good as '07 up until the shoulder injury in week 11. Hate him all you want but let's keep the record straight.

If his arm holds out, and the Vikings staff can control him, then I think you're right.

I think, once Brett's arm strength takes a hit, he's done. He always relied on arm strength and was never very technically sound. He's not a guy that can/will be able to fall back onto good technique once his arm starts to go.

I have a feeling that we will KNOW when Brett is done, cause (IMO) he'll have a major drop off.

Fuck that. I have season tickets at Lambeau so I sold all of them but 3 games. Made a little over $2000 on them. If anyone wants tickets to the Ravens/Packers MNF game on December 7th, let me know.
