In the final 8 games, Favre had 15TD's 7INT's and threw for more than 1700 yards. I don't call that a 2nd half slump either.

The Jets were 8-3 with Favre, having beaten the Pats & Titans. Then things went downhill because of injury. If he stays healthy, Vikings could have a good season. Four things in Favre's favor - AP, the O-Line, the defense, and Minny plays most of their games indoors. Aside from the Packers, I want to see Brett against the Ravens and Steelers(back-to-back), and the last game against my G-Men.

All of that is in his favor plus the fact that the only real difference between the Vikings and Packers offense is the logo on the cover sheet.

          5. Last season, Favre needed to learn an entire new offense. The Vikings have the same system Favre has been running for nearly 2 decades.

            Brett Who?

I can still see Favre crying after his last game with the Packers. What bullshit!

With two rookies on the "O" line this year he may be in trouble in Minnesota.

I won't miss listening to John Madden suck Favre's DICK through the microphone every time he does one of his games. Pathetic!!

Minny O-Line good run blocking, but sucked protecting the QB.

Only one, maybe two, cold weather games, are in Favre's favor.

He'll tank at some point in the season, but the good news about it they at least have AP to run ragged to keep them afloat. This is a lateral move at best. I definitely understand why Cris Carter was upset when he found out. It's a fucked up situation for the other QBs.

I hate this attention whoring bastard and wish he would go away.

you are a fool and will be proven so at the end of regular season. The fact is the Vikes wanted Favre because he is better than what they have at QB. The QB position has been crap for the last 5 years, league wide, except for just a few players. The Vikes will have a much ,much better season than they would have had without favre.

So in 2-3 weeks, your healed, you can play football and you can handle a 16 game season?

                            What a liar.

Favre is a complete tool, and ruined his legacy big time.

But I am looking foreward to the Packers creaming the Vikings in week 4 and again when they play in Green Bay.

Anyway I officially hate him. And I would love to see the Packers beat the shit out of them this year.
Comparing a glorified back up to a Hall Of Famer who is statistically the greatest QB of all time is more childish foolishness.

I kind of look at it like someone on the forums here has a successful chise but stops it because they dont feel like they can keep it up, then after a while they see another chise and say "that looks fun" and start it without really thinking of what the repurcusions are, that is Brett Favre's decision in VSN terms
