An example of ignorant internet fodder. Who cares about having pseudo friends on an internet site ? I have real friends. This is time killer crap :gold:

Only an immature person would bring that up as an important factor.

Enough about how superior I am to you though. Lets get back to the greatest QB in the history of football- Brett Favre! :gold:

As great as Brett was (I think somewhere in the top 15 QB all time), he's not even the greatest GB Packer QB.

I am a fan. I would have to disagree w/ you. I've been a GB fan since the 60's.

Well, the 245,000 in Brown county would like to disagree with you.

I doubt that all of Brown County has such a short memory, or ignores the entire history of the GB Packers. I doubt that all of Brown County would disagree. Packer fans are usually pretty football literate, and have a fair knowledge and respect for their teams history.

I don't disagree with you on that, but Bart Starr was a quarterback for the Packers, while Brett Favre was a legend.

Are you serious? Bart Starr wasn't/isn't a LEGEND? Are you out of your mind?

                      You're pulling my leg right?

Hey, I'm not cutting on Brett, but he was no Bart Starr.

I've lived in Green Bay for a long time and worked in the Packers organization for a little over a year now. When you walk down Lombardi Avenue and ask who the best Packers QB of all time is, 90+% of them will say, Brett Favre.

                          Talk to the older guys.

When GB won there 3 championships in a row, Horning and Taylor were gone. GB relied more and more on the passing game. Go back and look at Starr's performances in clutch and playoff games, he excelled. Clutch and playoff games is where Brett had his struggles. And he had some major struggles in playoff games.

Brett = Great regular season QB, not so great in playoffs.
Bart = Great clutch and playoffs. When it really counts.

Go look up the post season/clutch game stats. It's not even close.

Sorry, as great as I think Brett is, Bart > Brett.

Edit: Pretty cool you working in the GB organization.

That's because most of them won't know who Bart Starr is/ before their erA

I'm not saying I think Brett Favre is the better quarterback, I only said the fans disagree with what you're saying. Bart Starr was a great quarterback to the fans, but Favre had a bond with the fans unlike anything in history. The fans loved the way he played the game, not the numbers he put up during it.

You don't know what being a Packer fan is. Packer fans know their history.
