There's no doubt in my mind he intentionally hit it, either on his own or at the direction of Fisher. No one's come even close in a game since. If it's so easy, why is that the case? And if he's so good, someone else would have given him a shot.Last edited by Rayman; 11-10-2009, 07:56 PM.

All it did was get his name out there and get him a shot with the Jets, who promptly cut him when they realized he wasn't very good.

I'm sure he's pretty good. However, punters are not in high demand, nor are they a huge concern. Once again, there hasn't been a big leg punter to punt in that stadium other than Hentrich and Trapasso (who was the Ray Guy winner at Ohio State).
We'll see when Shane Lechler and Mike Scifres (who are scheduled @Dallas) punt there.

They, like Mat McBriar, are actually good at what they do and aren't trying to make a name for themselves.
