But the Jets don't the offensive weapons those teams have. Who's going to be Sanchez' Derrick Mason?

No way is he more talented then Flacco. Flacco can be a top 3-5 quarterback in the league with the tools he has, Sanchez cannot because he isn't nearly as physically gifted nor does he have the smarts of Flacco.

Falcons were more of surprise team then the Ravens due to Baltimore still having a dominant defense and Cam Cameron as their offensive coordinator. The Falcons came out of nowhere I expected them completely suck turns out they made the right move making Mike Smith their head coach. They too had weapons the Jets do not have.

I'm still LOL'ing at Vernon Gholston...

Christ this guy fucking sucks. Changing your number and being forced to play because Calvin Pace is an idiot aint gonna change anything. He looks just as terrible this year in preseason as he did all of last year.

Jets fans should be happy that Sanchez probably can't be worse than that bag of shit they drafted last year.

LOL @ 95% of the hate coming from Phins fans.

Sanchez has everything. He doesn't have the greatest arm strength but he can sure throw the ball a good distance, hell we dealt with Noodle Arm Pennington chucking the ball 20 yards max for several years. He's got nice accuracy. He's got poise and a great mentality. He will struggle, he's a rookie. Like others said we really have no deep threat wr's which is going to kill us. Teams will double Cotchery and our #2 isn't really that great of a #2 unless they step up big time.

I agree Gholston is a big time bust. I look for him on the field and he is no where to be found.

I still believe in Gholston. It's way too early to label him a bust. Last year was a waste because Mangini is a fuckin idiot. Give Rex Ryan more than 3 games with him before we completely write him off.

Um, what? Explain what tools Flacco has that Sanchez doesn't? He probably doesn't have as strong an arm as Flacco, I'll give you that. He's not as big, either. But he's accurate and poised. He has every bit the tools Flacco has. Don't know how you can say he doesn't have the smarts either, he was one of the smartest QB's in the country at USC. Without question smarter than Stafford who went #1.

You can quote me on that. He has all the skills to be a starting linebacker in the NFL, and with Rex Ryan at the helm he should be able to motivate him to become said starter.

Sanchez is definitely better then the crap the Jets had last year. They just really don't strike fear in the eyes of many, especially Dolphin fans. 5 or 6 wins at most.
Why do you act like the Dolphins are so good? Just wondering. Last time I checked they haven't won anything anytime recently.

Sanchez has every chance to be elite. He's in a good situation and has all the tools. You Dolphins fans are a little crazy after your 11-5 season. Understood, you're excited about a new regime and some success .. but come on.

He definitely doesn't have as strong an arm as Flacco who is right behind JaMarcus Russell when it comes to arm strength in the league. He is accurate but that is all about he has on Flacco. Poised is one thing he is not, that was a knock on him when he came out of college. He gets flustered by a strong pass rush. Not sure neither of us can prove who is the smarter player because they are such great athletes I'm sure they got special treatment when it came to the classroom. But listening to both of them talk I think it is fair to say they are smart guys.

And being smarter then Stafford isn't an accomplishment. He was drafted first due to Detroit's need at QB and the ability to make all the throws.

I go to a Jets message board just to read what they have to say about their team and some think Gholston would be cut this preseason if he wasn't given so much money and a high draft pick.

They won the division last season and upgraded the team during the off-season. Why can't we be confident about the team?

Talk about a failure waiting to happen.

I think Pat White is going to be the QB to take over personally. He is doing things in his first couple games that Henne still has trouble with. i.e Making progressions and reading the field
