So you consider a fail not winning the superbowl? Parcells, Reid, Shanahan, and Holmgren did an amazing job as the HC and GM. It's hard enough to win a superbowl as it is and there are very few HC's that have GM duties as well.

The rams have drafted countless amounts of offensive and defensive lineman in early rounds that have turned into busts. They should definitely use their early round picks elsewhere and try to get those positions in free agency.

Then you need to re-evaluate who is making these decisions in the draft . If you are wasting countless picks then somebody needs to be fired

Look at the Colts for example , outside of possibly Tony Ugoh (who was good in his rookie year btw) Polian has not bad one bad first round pick . And he is normally if not always picking later than the Rams in the draft . He's not the only guy either , Steelers generally draft well and so do the Pats (Barring one or two picks) , Ravens etc

I mean sure it's easier to add drafted guys to an already stacked team but if you are getting top 10 picks and "wasting" them then it's a fail . O-line is supposed to be the "easiest" position to draft with , aka the safest . Because even if that stud LT you took is average , you can always move him over to RT and he will do a job

If they can't pick up a good olineman or dlineman with these guys drafting then what makes you think they will see a good qb/wr?
