‘I’ll be honest with you: As a parent, I get tired of it,’ said a typically awe-shucks Archie Manning, from the eye of a delirious Broncos locker room. ‘You play 16 years . . . so what’s he played in? Twenty-two postseason games? And he’s kind of being ridiculed. I mean, I played in zero postseason games. I can tell you a bunch of guys in my era, quarterbacks, buddies of mine—they’d love to say they played in 22 postseason games. . . . My text count just hit 108 since the game’s ended. The last one I got is [from] Fran Tarkenton. So there are a lot of guys out there who played the game, friends of mine, friends of Peyton, who are proud of him.’” (Page 41)Comment

Dick Vermeil was asked on SirusXM if he thinks Manning becomes the greatest of all time if he wins his second Super Bowl:
"No. Because he already is."
When pressed about "only" winning one Super Bowl, Vermeil responded:
"All of the games count, you know."Comment

Joe Montana won alot of games. He won alot of SB too. Of course I dont recall Joe ever giving up a safety on the first play of the SB and then a pick 6 while his record setting regular season offense got destroyed in the big game....again
anyone who still wants to call Manning the goat can go ahead and hit themselves with a hammer cause you are a retardComment

its funny how you assume the center was at fault. but the only person who didnt see the ball coming was manning. the offense took off and manning was the only one not prepared for the snap. there was obviously some miss communication there. but the snap was right to manning had he not been walk towards the line. either way, its mistake by the QB because the entire offense went on whatever he called.Comment
