orton is not a bad QB, and now not only does he have a great defense, he also has actual wide recivers instead speedstres from special teams. the reason cutler didnt suceed was only partly to blame on the d being bad, he also wants to sling that rock. orton just wants to win so he can get back to drinking.

Just saying..
Orton is a lucky dude.. not to say he hasnt done a great job.. but this guy lucks out playing on some of the best defensive teams you can want as a QB. Denvers D has been nothing short of spectacular this year. Let Orton manage games and he wont lose them for you, aslong as the team does its part Orton is going to be a winning QB, majority of Bears fans have been saying this for years. Still doesnt take away from the fact that we havent had a QB that can carry us for 20+ years, Orton still cant carry the team on his own.Last edited by Kuzzy Powers; 10-20-2009, 04:14 PM.Comment

Originally posted by glenwillettAlso, are we all forgetting that Cutler is playing with that same great defense Orton had yet is not as successful? And the defense is playing worse because they are on the field more.. Denver's D has played well, but they are also able to get rest on the bench because we run the ball and make smart passes and don't turn the ball over. The same thing that Chicago used to do with Orton..Comment

The Bears offensive line and lack of run game is hurting Cutler. He is the reason why this team is one game over .500.
I'm not saying Orton is bad because he is not. But you can't act like he is a better quarterback than Cutler.
Two 'game winning' touchdown passes were 99 percent receivers skill.
Stoakley for keeping his eye on a deflected pass and Marshall for his field vision against the cowboys. (That pursuit by the secondary was awful)Last edited by RainboUnicorn; 10-20-2009, 05:20 PM.
