Also Dante Culpepper had an epic fucking season or two in his career. Too bad he doesn't have a Super Bowl. We all know Culpepper had that season everyone seems to forget about in 2004. If he had that MVP and a SB under his belt I guess we'd be able to call him a Hall of Famer too.
Is Drew Brees now a potential Hall of Famer?

No I'm not.
I never said that...hence why I wouldn't put him in on the first ballot.Comment

No I'm not.
Your "whole resume" includes thus far Super Bowl MVP's NOT MATTERING yet QB fumbles mattering SO MUCH! Are you kidding me. Many times QB's fumblign the ball has less to do with them than it does with bad blocking. That's why when people talk about QB's, and the GOAT/HOF, they never mention their fumbling stats because no one cares. EVER. Interceptions are one thing but people, well smart people, understand fumbling stats for a QB are largely overrated and have too many variables to be taken seriously at all.
Yes.

I really don't think Super Bowl MVP's matter what so ever. It's a Player of the Game award. You get your little face on the Madden Bus.
Now yeah, he has his 2 MVP's. He has his SB. :applause:
He still sat way too much to make the Hall of Fame. Especially for a Quarterback. The team leader. They are supposed to be on the field as much as possible. What type of legacy is held when you are sitting on the bench for half of your career?
What if Peyton Manning said, "you know what, for the rest of my career I'm gonna take every other week off."Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

Culpepper had two good seasons, NO MVPS, no SB's.
So now your argument is that the only difference betwen Culpepper and Warner is their success? AWESOME!Comment

You're sticking up for the fact that he sat the bench so much.
By the way the personal attacks at my intelligence doesn't make you look cooler.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. I honestly don't think I could compare myself to God.

I'd say a pretty damn good one seeing a with this "negative" he's still being mentioned as being in contention for the HOF and will more than likely make it.
LOL. Yeah because Warner was sitting out by choice.

No. I'm pointing out the fact that when he wasn't sitting the bench he was consistantly, for 5-8 season one of the best QB's in the NFL and in history in both the regular season and playoffs.
I'm not doing it to look "cooler". I'm doing it to point out the obvious.Comment

Yes it does. You don't think Mannign choosing to walk off on his team for no reason would carry the same weight legacy wise as him shredding a knee or arm to the point where he was no longer capable of playing?
Are you seriously that dumb? Serious question.
Then he is still a HOF'er and one of the top 5 QB's of all time.Comment

Wrap up.
I think Warner shouldn't make the hall of fame due to a lack of playing time.
I think that the Super Bowl Player of the Game award is over rated.
You think Warner should make the Hall because he had an outstanding career when he actually played.
You are impossible to argue with due to stubbornness and arrogance. With such witty remarks as "moron" and "cognitive ability of a flea" it makes it damn near impossible to argue with your kind.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard. In regards to Manning...
Then he is still a HOF'er and one of the top 5 QB's of all time.
You're taking everything I say so literally. Of course Manning would make the Hall. I guess I was dumb to say Manning, but I couldn't really think of another QB that is really going to make it to the Hall other than Brady, but he has 3 SBs.Originally posted by Leftwich 2-14-2009I wasn't comparing myself to Wildcard.
