What do you mean? He's 27 years old. We payed him big bucks in an uncapped year. Why would I rip a signing of a guy who hasn't been on the field as a Giant yet? It's not my money. All I know it's an upgrade over the retards in the position last year.

According to the National Football Post's Michael Lombardi, there's "major concern" inside the Giants organization that SS Kenny Phillips' surgically repaired knee won't fully heal.

"He has bone on bone right now," says Lombardi. This report is interesting because the Giants have been staunchly optimistic in public statements about Phillips. Total overpayment on the Giants part, even with no cap I thank Parcell's and company they didn't budge on their offer to Rolle who really wanted Miami first. We learned with Gibril "shitbag" Wilson last year. Luckily the no-cap year has bailed us out of his contract.

Antrell Rolle is not worthy of the moniker of being the highest paid safety in league history....whether it is for 1hr, 1 day, or 1 year. Even though I am a U of M guy.....

Of course they overpaid for him, I admitted that when they signed him.

However, it's not a ridiculous signing to me b/c it fills a HUGE need.

Like I said in the chatbox the other day, yeah we overpaid but Rolle is not a bum and he won't be Chris Canty pt deux.....we have a tremendous need back there and Rolle will fill that void....if we spent a few more bucks to improve, so be it....

CC Brown, Michael Johnson and Aaron Rouse (who we just cut) will do that to a GM
