    Dallas Home Field Advantage

Just asking after reading several articles on the issue, do you think that the NFL will try to change something if Dallas ends up with Home Field advantage throughout the playoffs? (provided they get there)

Alright imagine Dallas becomes a #1 seed (w/home field throughout the playoffs) and they get to the Superbowl (which is in Dallas) do you think that the NFL will try to change anything based on this fact?

The NFL always makes some interesting on the spot rules though.. Just thought I'd ask

i don't see how these two items are linked what so ever.

it's always been possible for the host city to play at home for the superbowl, not sure why this changes now.

you aren't stirring any waters, i just don't see any basis for your thought.

even though it's always been possible the hosting city's team was never good enough to possibly make it.

Its my understanding that for the SB, each team is given a small percentage of tickets. The teams then have to divide up the tickets to sponsors, investors, employees, ownership and the long-standing season ticket holders. I've heard that after all of this is done that less than 1% of all seats available at any Super Bowl are available to the paying public.

So, assuming Dallas makes it to the SB inside the stadium there really won't be an advantage.
