Yes Dallas fans, the Super Bowl is in Dallas. That doesn't mean you're going to be there.

This is a team that thinks it's cracked the jinx because of one playoff win after numerous playoff failures.
IMO, their loss to Minnesota in last year's playoffs proved what everyone outside Texas has known for some time - this team doesn't have playoff heart.
After what they did to Philly, they should have easily rolled over Minnesota.
      Instead, they just folded.
The current Cowgirls seem more concerned with personal fame than team success, unlike the Aikman-Irvin-Emmitt Cowgirls.

Seriously, you have to admit, this thread is retarded.

You didn't see Houtz, the VSN super Dolphin homer, make a thread about the Dolphins landing in Miami last year and thus changing the NFL landscape if they did make it there.

I bet the majority of Cowboy fans believe this is their year due to the Super Bowl being in Dallas because they are both that arrogant and that delusional.

I won't disagree with that last point at all, this thread is pretty stupid.

I can honestly tell you I don't feel that way at all. I'm confident in this team, but they understand nothing is going to be given to them. This isn't like 2007 where they suddenly exploded to 13 wins and figured the NFC would just bow to them in January. And it isn't like 2008 where they were crowned in the offseason and thought they could bypass the regular season.

I guarantee nothing other than the fact that they'll continue the hard work they've been doing since they got eliminated last year and that they'll compete in a tough division. It all comes down to the offensive line. They can't show up like they did in that game late in the year again.

You sound like the typical hater, dude. No logic, just fallacy.

The loss against Minnesota didn't show issues with heart. It showed issues with the offensive line. They were in that game well into the third quarter. It wasn't like the Philly game the year before where they got punched in the mouth and couldn't handle it. Minnesota's line play on both sides was much better, and they deserved to win, that's it.

They've taken that loss personally just like they took the Philly loss personally. You saw how that turned out, didn't you? One thing even the biggest hater would have to admit is that this team learns from its mistakes. May not happen overnight, but they do correct them. I'd be willing to bet you that they beat Minnesota this year, Favre or no Favre.

The other fallacy is that nonsense about caring more for fame than winning. That's another quality comment from you with nothing to base it on other than the fact that companies like ESPN love slobbering over the team because it draws ratings. Show me where this team has concerned itself in any way over the past year with being more Hollywood than being a winner. The owner may lean that way, but the players, from the quarterback on down, certainly do not.

If you're gonna trash the team, at least have a fucking clue what you're talking about.

            Flame on.

And, how, exactly how has your offensive line improved?

Marc Columbo not having a broken leg and Doug Free getting all the reps at LT is a start.

And just for shits and giggles I'll make another guarantee since he's a guy most idiots are fond of shitting on:

Doug Free will be one of the better left tackles in the NFC this year. Not elite, mind you. But he'll keep Romo's backside clean for the most part.

If your hope for a Super Bowl is Marc Columbo, I am definitely gonna bang Britney Spears in her prime.

There you go turning it into something it's not.

Have fun with yet another fantasy about a minor.

And you're anything but objective when you talk about this football team.

She's 29 ... and I have never denied my hatred for the Cowgirls.
But bias aside RayMan - you know I'm always cool.
I hate the Cowgirls, but I respect the Aikman and Staubach era Dallas teams.
But to say this current team is a Super Bowl level team is a joke. One playoff win and they're elite???

On some subjects outside of this? Sure.

Here? All you do is put words in my mouth and repeat what you hear on ESPN (or other sports network/publications).

I wouldn't call plenty of teams that showed up in the big game in recent years "Super Bowl level" yet there they were.

All I know is that this particular squad is more talented and deeper than any they've had since they last won it all. I'm not saying anything other than that. It's a long season.

Only a Cowboys fan would make a thread like this, further proving the point that their fans think the NFL is always against them and that they are all that matter in professional football.
