Sadly, I have zero confidence in Oakland as long as Jason Campbell is their quarterback.

Their defense (especially DLine) has been playing great and the run game has been good with McFadden but the fact of the matter is that we're starting track stars at WR (DHB and Ford) and a black guy at QB.

Not to mention the Raiders have a pretty tough schedule coming up:

    @ Pit
    Vs. Miami
    @ SD
    @ JAC
    VS. Denver
    Vs. Indy
    @ KC

Nonetheless, the team and Cable have already proven that they are going to compete week in and week out. It's really impressive to see what they've done so far with how many injuries they've had and who they've had to start in place for these guys:

Chaz Shilens (starting WR who has been out the whole year)
Louis Murphy (starting WR has missed last 2 games)
Zach Miller (banged up last 2 games, missed 1 game)
    Asomugha (missed last game)
    Gradkowski (has missed 4 games)
    McFadden (has missed 2 games)

As Tailback already alluded to, I can't pick Oakland due to the QB situation. I just can't.

Kansas City is a weird team. They really have no business being as good as they've been, but at the same time, have proven to be very up and down. You don't know what you are going to get.

SD is the most talented team of the group, with the best QB, and the best defense. Show me a team in any division with both the best QB and the best defense, and i'll show you the division winner probably upwards of 90% of the time.

And if you want to go back to how good/bad Moss is, look at his production this season. Sure he'll help out a running game, but top ten receivers don't get shut down week in and week out the way Moss has regardless of how the coverage is shifted to his side. Top ten receivers also don't play for three teams in five weeks. It far more ridiculous to say Moss is top ten than it was to say Jackson was however long ago that thread was.
Your like that moth who keep's trying to get into that covered light. Just keep on pounding your head over and over and over and over. Sure, one day you might make it through, but then you'll just set yourself on fire.

And is anyone surprised about the Charger's doing what they've done literally every year under Norv Turner? Don't bother turning up till Week 8 of the season, go on a big run, beat Indy in the wild card, then lose the next week.

San Diego lost to KC and Oakland. It's anybody's division.

The Chiefs still have 4 home games left and are always a totally different team at Arrowhead.

The Raiders have a tough schedule coming up. The division could definitely come down to the Raiders at KC on the last week of the season.

The Chargers are a weird team as well. Tons of talent, but mediocre results to show for it. Their running game isn't great and you can get some sacks on them with as much as they throw it. I don't think their defense is as good as their rankings.

          Should be a fun ride.

I can see Gradkowski coming in this week after Campbell lays an egg at pittsburgh the Raiders have the toughest schedule but nothing impossible im going homer and saying the Raiders win 6 out of 7 to win the division, we are a jano 30 yard field goal from being 6-3

I agree with the OP. While KC and Oakland are much improved, we all know in the end it usually comes down to QB play. Take into account the weapons he is getting back, I think the Chargers take this division.

In earlier seasons when San Diego shit the bed to start the season, they still managed to sweep Kansas City and Oakland every time...

Fuck you guys it's Denver all the way. With Tim Tebow developing we can actually score in the red zone!

Every great story has a low point omar. They'll be making movies about this season in five years, how the Broncos overcame injuries, embarrassing losses, and a 2-6 record to win the Super Bowl. All through the grace of Tim Tebow and Kyle Orton's arm. What a story! Better then the blind side that's for sure.

Divison wise it seems like the kind of year where each team is winning at home,

Chargers @ Chiefs, Chiefs win 21-14.
Chiefs @ Raiders, Raiders win 23-20
Chiefs @ Broncos, Broncos win 49-29
Chargers @ Raiders, Raiders win 35-27
(The only exception being Raiders @ Broncos where Raiders got the win - which I think is going to be the one that comes back and hurts Denver the most)

                      A quick look at the schedules and I think;
                      Chargers 9-7
                      Raiders 8-8
                      Chiefs 8-8
                      Broncos 7-9

If we lose a divisonal game at home - we won't win the division. If we can go 3-0 then I think it's ours.

What was the loss to the 49ers then? Or do those 2 embarrassing losses count as the low point?

I have Schaub and Orton on my FF team. I start each based on the matchup, went with Schaub this week and Orton outscored him by 10. I'm starting Orton this week and I will bet money that he shits the bed. It's happened every week I've started him.

Guy fucking sucks against good defenses. And before you say KC has a good defense, Jason Campbell threw for over 300 yards and 2 TDs on them last week and Jacoby Ford had 140 receiving yards. KC has been exposed.

Jacoby Ford and Campbell got those yards on like 5 passes they completed the whole game.. The Raiders had around 60 yards of offense in the first half and were a fluke completion that should have been an INT away from a loss. They have played better, for sure, but don't come in here talking about the game vs KC like you guys went up and down the field on us..

So your strategy is to start the QB who will score less points?

What's the difference? 300 yards of offense from Jason Campbell is 300 yards.

The fact that it was in the 2nd half only means that the Raiders adjusted and the Chiefs didn't so Cable outcoached Haley. Which makes your team look even shittier.

Don't get butthurt because Campbell threw for 300 yards, 2 TDs, and no INTs vs your team.
