Maybe if he had another threat on the field that could beat a corner like Tramon Williams/Charles Woodson then maybe the Falcons get some points on that drive instead of giving up 7. Maybe they win that game.

Who knows. Certainly not me. And certainly not a guy who weeps and sleeps in a puddle of his own jizz every night!!!
A puddle of jizz? That would be awesome. And I never weep, baby. I am all man.

Anyway, I can't think of one NFL WR worth 5 premium draft picks. And Julio Jones is not a star NFL WR yet.

Scott Pioli gets an A on the first day. I had some guys I liked at 21, but I liked trading back, getting a high 3rd from the Browns, and getting a potential beast in Jon Baldwin.

Baldwin, Bowe, Moeaki, Charles, and McCluster looks real nice right now for KC.

LOL at Mel Kiper listing his needs for the Chiefs as OLB, NT, WR, and C...and the Chiefs come up and it's "look for the Chiefs to get a right tackle here"...the fuck?

Agree with Omar about the Lions taking Fairley to pair with Suh. Stroud and Henderson were both big, strong guys. Suh and Fairley are both penetrating 3 Tech's. They'll be monsters getting after the QB, but I think you can run on them.

The Falcons pulling a Mike Ditka and trading away all of that shit for Julio Jones doesn't make a lot of sense to me. You got Roddy White, Michael Jenkins, Harry Douglas, Tony Gonzalez, and you trade up for a receiver when your defense just got raped in the playoffs? Alright. Julio Jones is a nice player, but he wasn't worth all that.

Don't agree with the Saints being big winners even though I like both of the players they got. You got raped by the Pats and gave them another first rounder. Congrats.

Shocked at the run on QB's...but I think Locker has potential. He came out of a pro system and that's pretty valuable these days, imo. I never thought much of Gabbert, but my Chiefs fan/Mizzou fan brethren swear that he's the real deal...and I can see some similarities to Josh Freeman in him.

I agree with you that giving up that many picks for a WR is reaching, but it's not about the player, it's about how the player helps the team.

Right now it looks crazy but if you're Atlanta, close to a SB, and may be one more elite WR away from a Super Bowl then I can understand taking that risk.

And from everything I've heard, Julio Jones is supposed to end up being pretty damn good. We won't know how good until we see him, but I think he could step on the field right now and do better than Jenkins and Douglas.

exactly what I thought, you scored points why get another offensive player when you can upgrade your defense?

Yeah, it's about Atlanta thinking they're a Julio Jones away from a Superbowl. But, are they really?

I guess they're gonna try to beat teams 49-48.

                        Favorite pick by everyone?

Mine's easily PP7 to Arizona, followed by Prince to Giants at 19. Love the fact that Jets got another Jersey guy in the first.

                            Pardon me, gentlemen.

I do believe it's time for me to shut shit down.

I like the Jimmy Smith pick but I just wonder how the coach who couldn't handle Chris McAlister's shenanigans is going to work with the guy in the Scarface shirt. I think we had to make the pick though.

I like Jimmy Smith for his potential, but his off the field issues concern me.....the guy just has issues and generally those sort of things just don't go away.
