Prove that statement. Boise has been playing BCS conference school for a few seasons now and has been beating them. I know as recently as last season they were trying to set up a series with Nebraska as well. They've been in contact with SEC teams, PAC 10 teams etc. It's been pretty obvious they are willing to go play anyone anytime.

Dropping Idaho, which is a meaningless and stupid rivalry, for a possible premiere game against a BCS school(which is who you want them to play more of) make sense. You can't get mad at them and demand them to play more top flight teams then get pissy about them trying to adjust their schedule so they can do so. USC and Texas would actually have to agree to play them. It's not as if Boise can call out USC and Texas WWF style then magically have the game played. Both parties need to agree. I have no doubt Boise would love to play either of those schools. Woudl Texas and USC love to play Boise? More than likely not.

This makes no sense. By this logic why would Boise State even want to schedule anyone. This isn't a point for why Alabama wouldn't play them. This is a point as to why would Boise even bother to schedule anyone tough. If Boise can roll to 13-0 and a BCS bowl against "glorified" HS teams why risk that all by scheduling OSU, Oregon, VaTech, etc etc early in the year?

Curious, why would a playoff make SOS mean anything? A school would still need to get selected into the tournament, like they do now into the Champ game. Schools would still pad there schedule in order to get into the tournament. I mean, it's not like it makes sense to have a 64 or 32 team College Football playoff. I think we are talking more like a 4 team, or MAYBE an 8 team playoff.

SOS would matter, because you would have a bunch of one and two loss teams battling for the last few playoff spots. It would be advantageous to play tough OOC games instead of loading up on cupcakes.

With the current system, the goal is to go unbeaten. Its to your advantage to play weak OOC games. SOS means absoluely nothing. Is just a excuse they use to keep out non Cartel teams. Go unbeaten, and you will likely play for a title.

They go with a 4 team playoff, and you really think the 3&4 teams are gonna schedule tougher teams that they could lose to instead of cupcakes they know they can beat? I guess I'm just not as confident as you that they would. But I don't follow college football much outside of Wisco and the Big 10. I don't follow it nearly like you guys.

To me a 4 team playoff is twice as good as the current two team playoff, but not sure small schools would really get a much better chance to make it into the top 4. I would maybe go as high as an 8 team playoff. Maybe you can get some smaller teams in the top 8.

I want to see them play in PLAYOFF games in January, provided they are among the top 4 or 6 or 8 teams.

Bowl games are antiquated nonsense that outlived their usefullness two decades ago. Time to crown a real champion like every other sport in the world.

Sidenot-the Ncaa does not recognize a Div.1 football champion. Again, fine system we have here. Anyone who isn't a bowl chairman who supports this shit is lost.
