I'm doubting the Armsteads to ND as well but it'd be a huge get. Plus I think both are going to the same place which I think helps ND more as Armond really seems to want to go to ND.Comment

Former ND commit David Perkins will be committing to Ohio State tomorrow.
There's debate over whether he dropped ND, or whether ND dropped him... that's not a prime concern of mine and I don't care either way given that we have two former ND staffers working for us now, and I doubt we would take him if there were serious issues.Comment

ND told him if he got his grades up..he's in. He said fuck it. Especially given the fact that he wants to get away from South Bend for school. ND never really thought they could keep him. They offered him hoping to sneak him under the radar a bit at first.
Not a bad kid. No real issues. REALLY raw. Like REALLY raw. Great frame. In the right system could end up making a hell of a "fly around ane make plays" safety.
The kid looks the part of a big time player but it never really all came together for him.
Could end up as a bit of atweener. Not srue if he fits as a safety or an OLB.
Scout JayRock's take from seeing him in person.
As for Perkins? We aren't missing out on anything special here. He's a bad running back (no speed, can't cut well, can't hit the hole). He's a solid defensive player but nothing special. He just towered over everyone though. He looks like a BCS caliber defensive player. He ran through smaller guys and just relied on his size and strength to beat his blocker. Other times, he got bottled up by them. I think most of it is coaching, and he doesn't know what to do correctly. However, the kid would have turned out as an average player anyway. Whoever we get in his place will be just as good, if not better. He's nowhere near an elite player.

This was the buzz around my parts today. Not looking good for his recruiting status. Seems like Will Hill all over again.
Nice Yuri.
Come to ND. We have no weed whores.Comment

Armond Armstead said today that he will return to USC any day now to take classes toward a master's degree. He last month graduated from USC with a degree in sociology. The former defensive lineman starter who sat out the 2010 season due to a series of medical tests - he reports that he is just fine - said he hopes to transfer over the summer to resume his playing career, perhaps to Notre Dame or Auburn, and there are a host of others looking at hm, too. He could also entertain the NFL draft after workouts.
His brother Arik, meanwhile, will wait until national Letter of Intent on Feb. 1 to decide, the first day high school players from across the land can formally sign binding contracts with a school. The 6-foot-8, 290-pound All-American lineman had hoped to be taking classes this week, and was enrolled at Norte Dame, Cal and Auburn.
ND still in play. Armond sits 2012 anyways. Arik becomes Irish as well.
No big deal.Comment

My anatomy teacher was pissed today because of this tweet going viral.
He's a really chill teacher and always jokes around about this stuff with us, but was really mad when he found out kids were tweeting about the things that go on in his class.
Also, he meant orgasm. The kid isn't very bright.Comment
