Whoever runs kars 4 kids must have a huge roll on the WFAN staff. They have been advertised for so many years and so often.


Also, growing up since I was a little kid and been going to Giant's games, I've listened to the NFL Sunday Mornings with Francesa religiously. Nothing beats that feeling of driving on the turnpike on the way to a game listening to that program and the Phil Simms weekly call.

Think it's more likely they just have a real nice connection going on in sales. If there's one thing I've learned over the last few years, it's that sales guys are lazy as fuck and won't go looking for new deals for commercial slots unless they absolutely have to.

My father is a radio salesman lol. But he tells me the same thing, he's a beast salesman.

And you have to assume they get their ads for free or some crazy deal or the fan writes them off on their taxes... No way can K4K be able to put that much money into prime advertising spots.

Pitcher David Cone just interviewed on Joe and Evan. TBH I do not remember him at all, but he threw a perfect game with the Yanks and threw 20 win seasons with both the Mets and Yanks, can't be many that have done that.

Did you hear Bernstein tear apart David Schuster today around 4:45 for saying Rose was intimidated by LeBron James...and Schuster swore "intimidated" had nothing to do with fear.

I can't listen to the local guys out here.. they are on a whole new level of brutal.

Used to love Jim Rome but his show is stale and lame now.

I love Dan Patrick but our local sports station is such a joke.. his first hour is live and the remaining two are tape delayed after Rome.. that way they can have their local hacks come on and show how stupid they are for two hours. It's miserable broadcasting.

ESPN Radio is pretty much crappy. Once in awhile I'll try to stomach some Mike & Mike but both of those guys are such tools. Cowherd is a blow hard. Van Pelt is tolerable. Gottlieb is a joke.

Basically like W2B said, sports radio has a lot of crap on it. Dan Patrick is the one really good show out there right now IMO.

I used to love Boston sports radio a lot more than I do now, WEEI in particular seems to be getting stale. In the morning i'll listen to Dennis & Callahan while I'm getting ready for school but Callahan is getting increasingly difficult to listen to, still think Dennis is a great host though.

In the afternoons I've transitioned away from the Big Show. They lost me as a listener for a while when Felger/Maz went on 98.5 the hub but now that Ordway re-vamped the cast and brought Michael Holley on with him i've tuned in occasionally. I'm a huge fan of Michael Felger, most people can't stand how much of a DB he is but he's consistently right and doesn't get wishy washy when he's wrong.
