Sounds like Pittsburgh and the Jets are the top suitors for Plax now.

Falcons re-signed WR/KR Eric Weems.
A Pro Bowl returner last season, Weems has never made an impact on offense. There's a slight chance he'll get a few more looks in 2011 after the Falcons parted ways with Michael Jenkins on Friday, but Julio Jones' presence should likely ensure Weems' contributions remain limited to special teams.
Thas wassup. Now onto Blalock and Grimes.Comment

No supplemental draft this year. Terrelle Pryor will just be chilling out and signing autographs for money for the time being.Comment

I cannot figure out why the hell Pittsburgh wants Plaxico. We have 4 good receivers already, why not spend that money on O line depth or a man for the secondary?Comment

Bears signed RB Marion Barber to a two-year, $5 million contract.
Increasingly injury prone, Barber has averaged just 3.9 yards per carry over the past two seasons. Of course, that's 1.5 more than Chester Taylor during his disastrous first season in Chicago. Barber is capable of spelling Matt Forte on some passing downs, but the Bears are kidding themselves if they think he's worthy of change-of-pace carries. Taylor is in seriousComment

Citing a league source, the Charlotte Observer reports that the Panthers are interested in trading for Asante Samuel.
The connection is obvious because Sean McDermott, new Panthers defensive coordinator, held the same role in Philly last year. McDermott has been collecting former Eagles, including LB Omar Gaither and S Sean Considine. If any team can take on Samuel's large base salaries and cap numbers, it's the Panthers, even after they re-signed so many of their pending free agents. Carolina also has a need at the position after losing Richard Marshall.Comment
