Yeah but moreso because Collie has his own injury concerns.

As for the Colts there's no telling. They notoriously lie about shit. when it comes to injuries.

Stop mentioning Luck to Indy, that legitimately makes me sick.

Draft a black quarterback and deal with him for a few years before you can have another All-Pro.

Colts owner: Peyton Manning will be out “awhile”
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on September 8, 2011, 9:17 AM EDT

The news about Peyton Manning’s injury is going to get worse before it gets better.

The latest from Colts information director/owner Jim Irsay, via Twitter:

“NFL Season opens 2nite!We had a good practice yesterday and r guys r fired up 4 the season.#18′s out for awhile, but compete,we will/BELIEVE,” Irsay wrote.

That followed up a tweet on Wednesday night from Irsay that said Manning hasn’t had another surgery, and that the Colts would add information and clarity to the situation soon.

This much is clear: Manning’s injury is not going to be a one or two week problem. This is going to take “awhile.”

or maybe not. but shit I'm still kind of excited about the season.
              Excited to go 6-10?

Rarely do we get a glimpse at a players true worth to there franchise. "Surrounding talent" argument is the cheap and easy one with every great player.
Mannings legacy can be vaulted or tainted depending how well the Colts do without him.
Best reason to have a license.

                  It's deeper than that.

I'm very interested to see how these wide outs play, how the O-line does, and what this means for the rushing game. (some people suggest Indy doesn't run the ball well because they choose not too, with no Manning Indy HAS to run the ball)

I'm ready to see what this team looks like without Manning when it actually matters. and if we DO go 6-10, I'm ready to see us grab some legitimate talent in the draft with a high first round pick for the first time in a LONG, LONG time. I don't think Indy has picked higher than 22 since Freeney.

I don't think the legend of Tom Brady was diminished with Matt Cassell's 11-5 season.

His legend was diminished by wearing this haircut out in public.

Well the Patriots need to be the best at everything in the AFC East. Sanchez is trying to out gay Brady and Brady slapped that bitch back down to earth.

Sources: More Peyton Manning surgery - out 2-3 months

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning had further neck surgery Thursday, sources familiar with the situation said.

Manning decided to have the surgery, the sources said, after consultation with a half-dozen doctors who reached a consensus that the most viable option would be a one-level cervical neck fusion in the wake of his May 23 surgery to repair a bulging disk. It's unclear whether Manning would be able to return to play this season.
