Antwaan Randle El caught four passes for 22 yards in Week 2.

He wasn't as involved in the Redskins' offense this week, but Randle El continues to show a strong chemistry with QB Jason Campbell and should have several targets each week. He has 120 receiving yards on 11 catches through Week 2.

Redskins RG Randy Thomas is expected to miss the 2008 season after tearing his right triceps in Sunday's win over the Rams.

The move to 1-1 cost the Skins their best run blocker. The team isn't saying anything until they see an MRI, but LG Derrick Dockery basically confirmed it. "It's gonna be hard, we're gonna miss him," he said. This is Thomas' second triceps tear in the last three seasons. His loss is going to hurt Clinton Portis, who hasn't played well at all in Washington's first two games.

Jason Campbell revealed that he played Sunday's game with a sprained right ankle.

Campbell taped up the ankle and kept going after tweaking it in the second quarter. He finished with 242 passing yards, but didn't throw any TDs in the 9-7 win. If the ankle is still sore, he may be limited in Wednesday's practice

Redskins guard Will Montgomery will get the first crack at replacing Randy Thomas (triceps), who is expected to miss the season.

The Redskins could also turn to Chad Rinehart. Pete Kendall is out there but according to the Washington Times, the 'Skins "don't seem inclined" to bring him back. Replacing Thomas is going to be an important issue for Clinton Portis and Jason Campbell.

Redskins coach Jim Zorn confirmed that RG Randy Thomas has a complete tear of his right triceps.

It's a big blow to the Redskins. Will Montgomery is expected to get the first shot at replacing Thomas, the team's best run blocker. Pete Kendall is a free agent and knows the scheme but he probably couldn't be ready for this week's game against the Lions.

Jason Campbell's foot injury is expected to limit him in practice this week.

The Washington Post calls it more of a foot sprain than an ankle tweak, as Campbell initially labeled it. Campbell was able to finish Sunday's win over St. Louis, but the foot has swelled up. Still, he's probably just day to day.

Updating a previous item, second-year man Chad Rinehart will get the first crack at replacing RG Randy Thomas (triceps, injured reserve).

Journeyman Will Montgomery filled in Sunday, but the Skins think Rinehart has more upside despite barely getting on the field as a rookie. Washington's run game gets Detroit in Week 3, but is struggling even in easy matchups.

Profootballtalk.com reports that the Bills have put PR Roscoe Parrish on the trade block again and could move him shortly.

According to Mike Florio, Jacksonville, Kansas City, and Washington are possible landing spots. The Jags are the best fit. They need help in the return game and at wide receiver after giving up on Nate Hughes and losing Troy Williamson. Bobby Wade's arrival in K.C. may reduce the Chiefs' interest.

Jason Campbell (foot) said Tuesday, "I'll be out for a couple of days but I'll be ready to go for Sunday."

Campbell tweaked his right foot in the second quarter of Sunday's ugly win over the Rams. He never came out of the game and should be fine for Sunday's matchup with the Lions. The Redskins' offense, on the other hand, is not fine.

Chris Cooley leads the Redskins with 17 targets through two games.

Slot man Antwaan Randle (15) and Santana Moss (11) are next. Cooley is normally a slow starter, but not this year. He's hauling in 82% of balls thrown his way and turned them into 14 grabs, 151 receiving yards, and a score

Redskins RT Stephon Heyer has struggled in the team's first two games and may lose his starting job to Mike Williams.

Williams would provide an immediate upgrade in girth, but that's about it. Rams LE Leonard Little and Giants LE Justin Tuck have combined for eight tackles (seven solo), 1.5 sacks, and two pass breakups against Heyer so far.

Redskins placed RG Randy Thomas on injured reserve with a torn right triceps muscle, ending his season.

It should've happened the past two years, but the Skins need to go heavy on offensive linemen in the 2010 draft (and scout better). Thomas will return at age 34 next year with a salary that shoots from $1.6 million to $3.7 million. He will have missed 27 of the Redskins' last 48 regular season games.

Redskins signed RB Anthony Alridge off the Texans' practice squad.

Alridge, 25, was in camp with Washington and could potentially spark the stagnant running game later in the season, assuming he's over his ball security issues. He has homerun speed and reliable pass-catching ability
