I honestly don't see how anyone in their right mind can say Brady's throw was on the money.....in most cases when the WR has to leave his feet, the throw was off target.....look at the big space between the Giants defenders.....Brady hits him on the numbers, chances are I'm sad right now because that was a potential superbowl winning dagger

Larry is on record as saying he was on the Eli for HOF boat after the first one.

lol. My point exactly. Both players won the Superbowl last night and in 2007, and both played significant roles in their teams success.

Yet you don't even know who they are.

Enough love for the quarterback. Manning had a good game, so did most players on that team. The question shouldn't be about rings, it should be "Were you watching one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time?"

My answer as of today is no.

So is the argument WILL he be in the Hall of Fame, or SHOULD he be in the Hall of Fame? Because those are pretty different (and my impression is that W2B is arguing the latter).

No, I don't lack it all.

The idea that "he will finish Top 15 in yards!" just doesn't mean all that much.

I never said "on the money".

I took issue with it being a "poor throw" and/or people saying it was the wrong read. Neither of which are correct.

Thats fine also, he is saying he thinks Eli will get in the HOF, even after the first one, whats wrong with that?

Throughout the year I feel like off and on in the chatbox and even at times in the thread, regulars here lament at why the media is so fucked up with some of its obnoxious coverage/bombastic statements. Some of the arguments in this thread is why it still exists.

I don't think anyone said the throw was "on the money". It wasn't a great throw, but I think it was put in the general area of where Brady wanted it, it's up to Welker to make that adjustment and help his QB...

I don't think he is HOF right now if his career was over, but when his career is over I see him getting in
I'm just saying he's a Hall of Famer...I'm not here to judge whether one is deserving of being in the Hall...there are plenty of players that are in the Hall that don't consider great or "deserving"...but they are there, and that's all that really matters...they had a resume that was worthy regardless of their place in history.

If the giant pessimist JMS says the Giants have a bright future, then it's a fact

Dude, if Brady puts that ball anywhere else Welker is eating through a straw this morning...

Bottom line is, they work fine for the Giants and what they do...it got Simms two rings, Eli now has two

And some might cringe at this thought, but Eli could possibly end up with four rings before he's done...oh the horror at the thought of him passing Brady huh
