It's true in most cases, but usually there are guys who actually know what they're talking about just because of their connections. Schefty and LaCanfora are usually (but not always) pretty good at it.
The hard part is knowing who's actually connected to who. And that's a lot of BS to sort through.
A lot of people had eyes on Colston. While not explosive downfield, he can certainly move the chains and is a tough player. For a team like Washington who has a couple deep threats, he would have complemented them extremely well. Good move by the Saints, though I have to think Carl Nicks is going to be somewhere else.
Was there really a good fit for him outside of New Orleans? He's got a lot of injury history and he's not what I consider a top WR but he fills a hole in the Saints offense.
