People in this thread who have watched A&M all year long knew A&M was legit, and made posts to support that, so you can't play that card. A&M would be favored on a neutral field against ND.

Also, in fairness(somewhat) Purdue was a sleeper pick to challenge for the Big10 this year and Pitt and Wake were decently respected ACC teams. Like I said earlier looking at the schedule retroactively and acting as though ND scheduled those games in order to play cupcakes is pretty weak. I highly doubt Florida expected competitive games against ULL and Jacksonville St when they set up the schedule. I'm pretty sure that's the point that JayRock was going for.

ND gets docked for playing close games against Pitt, Purdue, BC (all decent teams).

Florida still Gods in SEC for beating LA Lafayette by 7 bc of a 4th quarter collapse.

LSU still Gods in SEC for beating Towson by 16 points.

A&M still Gods in SEC for beating Ole Miss by 3 points.

What does this have to do with my point that TAMU would be in the national title hunt if not for one quarter of bad play against Florida? Wouldn't matter if Florida was 0-9. They would be a one loss team (on the road to LSU) with a win of Alabama on the road, with a shot at the SEC Title game, and an outside shot at the BCS game.

None of that even matters. The point is you came back into the thread trying to play the Bama sucks card because they lost to TAMU, when all of last week people in this thread knew TAMU was a legit team.

My point is the entire SEC is overrated. I'm not denying A&M is a legit team, but the entire conference bias is incredible. These teams don't play anyone, they beat each other, but stay ranked in the top 9. It's unreal. Nobody was talking about A&M other than you until today. Suddenly they are a top 10 team?
