I love how people are somehow blaming the vapid sideline interviewer for the shameful, orchestrated behavior of the asshole attention whore.

It's like slut shaming without flat out calling her a whore. It's just as bad as calling Sherman a thug to imply the word nigger. Except in her case, she did absolutely nothing to instigate it, which was Sherman's m.o. all along.

If you know anything about my posting history you would know that I am not a fan of taunting or showboating. Especially orchestrated displays of attention grabbing along the lines of Sherman or T.O.

I'm not sure if taking it personally is the right description, but it does irritate me as a sports fan. Actually, people defending it is what really irritates me. Call it "get off my lawn" if you like, but a heavy proliferation of this stuff would be damaging to sports.

You lost me at Jay Mohr. I'm a fan of Rome but could never listen to his show, when Mohr was hosting. He was on a local radio station a couple of years ago, while promoting some television show and got upset (hung up on them). They told him he was using old jokes....he didn't take it so kindly.
