You lost me at Jay Mohr. I'm a fan of Rome but could never listen to his show, when Mohr was hosting. He was on a local radio station a couple of years ago, while promoting some television show and got upset (hung up on them). They told him he was using old jokes....he didn't take it so kindly.

he's a friend of Rome's and an accomplished writer/comedian,actor with a national show. So what if certain entertainment mediums are repetitive? its the biz. I respect him and like his over all personality and some of his body of work.

Almost all sports broadcasters are pure and utter shit. There are a few good guys in there pretty much designed to keep the clowns somewhat on the right track. Who did Andrews kick back to in the Fox studio? I'm assuming it was a handful of retarded former player clowns right?

On that note, it must suck to be a woman in sports broadcasting. You pretty much get to the top (national network) and find yourself pinned to the sideline for inane interviews with a pretty small set of possible answers, all generic and not worth listening to. And your air time is limited to about 30 seconds sandwiched between the "experts" joking around.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking. These sideline reports are interviewing people on basic, mundane, and in the end irrelevant stuff. This isn't exactly Nixon in '77 where we need someone to grill them with hard hitting questions.
