Thats for Sunday Ticket Max subscribers. Its an extra 69-99 on top of the regular price I think.

The PS3 version had perfect streams but poor quality audio. Now I have a new sound system so that shouldn't be a problem, at least I hope it isn't.
What was the issue with audio. Sound system wont help if the stream was bad.
Best reason to have a license.

The video on my PS3 streams was perfect no lag or choppy frames, but the audio was too low a volume. I had to turn my old TV speakers up to 90 to hear what commentators were saying. I think I am going to go the console route but if it doesn't have better sound then I will call and switch to the PC, phone and tablet option.

FYI, PS3 app has been updated too. If I can stream to my 2 PS3's and my PS4 simultaneously with one account

I believe those who have Sunday Ticket Max subscriptions will be able to stream on their consoles at no additional cost. The login I have worked on both PS3 and PS4.

so yeah this is a no go, and i'd venture to say a no go for almost anyone.

Hey, PS3 and PS4 owners! Now you can stream live, out-of-market NFL games on your PS3 and PS4 without a DIRECTV satellite TV subscription if you live in a select apartment building, attend one of these universities, or live in one of the following metro areas: New York City, Philadelphia, or San Francisco. See if you qualify.
so basically it's a big fuck you from directtv

Was anybody able to purchase this offer? I pulled the trigger on it this morning since the Saints @ Falcons game isn't on local TV and was already on the fence wanting to have Sunday Ticket for this season on my tablet or phone if Sunday finds me away from the house.

I decided against it for now. I'm going to go with online streams I find online and see how that goes. If all else fails I'll get it but hoping I don't have to

I have to say I am really impressed with the video quality today. Those of us that have purchased this online package over the past few years can attest to how horrible it worked the first few weeks of the season as DirecTV got their server bandwidth straightened out. It appears in 2014 they finally realized this streaming thing isn't going away.
