If Julio doesn't play tomorrow then I consider the season over, even though it's a miracle Atlanta still controls their own destiny at this point in the season below .500.

If Julio DOES play then I would not at all be surprised if Atlanta wins and somehow manages to go into the last game of the season with a shot to host a playoff game if they win. Especially with this awful of a record, so I'm conflicted that even if Atlanta continues into the playoffs that Mike Smith won't be fired at the end of the season.

Demarco Murray might have had the highlight run of the year if it wasn't for the idiot refs and even worse broadcast crew.
He did a BarrySanders/EmmittSmitheque balancing act as the redskins tossed him over planted his hand and was ready to run off for a TD but it was inexplicably blown dead. Replay was crystal clear. He breaks another long one for the DC single season record the next play.

The Hard Knocks "we gotta be tough" message didn't seem to get through. Barely watched them at all this year. I assume the defense and shaky Ryan screwed them again ?

Matt Ryan played admirably behind an inconsistent offensive line and isn't close to being the problem in Atlanta. The problem was the defense and play calling as well as Mike Smith fucking up time management in critical situations.

NFL Random Thoughts

Could you imagine how much more intense NFL free agency would be if instead of waiting until the beginning of the new league year in March players would hit the free agent market as soon as their teams season ended? Teams could bring in starting-level reinforcements as the playoffs played out.

Deal with it. I only tune in for Julio Jones no other aspect is worth watching they've had the same MO for years only thing improving is him.
