NFL Week 2 Discussion

Looking forward to the Cards - Giants game. Is the cards D as good as it looked? Is the Giants offense as bad as it looked?

Falcons - Bengals, Matty Ice now faces a real defense, let's see what he does this week. This could be the true break out year for him.

And finally another cowboys beat down would be fun to watch.

Can't believe I wasted 4 hours watching Eagles at Colts for the refs to just ruin the game at the end.

What a waste of time, the Eagles didn't deserve that.

As an Eagles' fan, it bugs me too. I still think we would have legitimately won that game, but both those calls sucked. I totally agree.
If I were a Colts' fan, I would be even more upset at the offensive coaches who took the ball out of Andrew Luck's hands with under three minutes left.

My brother is at the end



So I went to the Bills home opener with my brother (who is a big Dolphins fan and flew up from Jacksonville to visit). The Bills fans let him have it the whole game. It was an amazing atmosphere. Jim Kelly gave a speech about the late Ralph Wilson before the game and got the crowd pumped and I feel like the Dolphins lost the game right then and there.

At half it was only 9-0 but Miami couldn't move the ball at all and Buffalo was kicking FG's like usual. Obviously after CJ took one to the house it swung momentum. Buffalo moved the ball well in 2nd half but 6 field goal attempts during the game isn't great imo. They need touchdowns during the rest of the season. Only being up 9 points after a dominate 1st half isn't going to win us games all the time. It was weird watching a Bills that was in hand in the 2nd half. Hasn't happened in a long time.

I would love to go to another home game this season. Very great experience. Lost my voice yelling when the Bills were on defense.

I admit I am happy with my team's win, but completely understand your anger.

I truly don't get what the hell your offensive co-ordinator was thinking in the second half. OK, your run game and formations caught the Eagles off-guard in the first half. They adjusted. Time to put the ball back into Andrew Luck's hands.
And who the hell called for a pass in FG range up seven points late in the game? What the hell? Whoever made that play call should be fired. (I don't blame Luck ... he's the franchise).

IMO, you guys are still making the playoffs. You have the QB 31 other teams would trade for in a heartbeat, three damn good WRs, two damn good TEs. You simply got screwed by a tough sked early.

Well my Browns somehow pulled that Saints game out. I thought for sure that botched extra point was going to kill us.

BTW... WTF was that blown ass coverage at the end of the game from New Orleans?!?!?

I was in the moment and pretty angry. You are right but I still think the Colts had a chance to win until the 2 calls.

The slow mo breakdown of the Hilton play on reddit showed that he pretty much fell down by himself though, so really it was only the bad call on the horse collar
