I just would kindly like to point that first time PED users -- who I hope we can all agree is more serious than PSI -- don't even get suspended for a game. So yeah.

Cheating is cheating and they should all be considered the same. That's my earlier point... the NFL is making this a harsher punishment on Brady than any other first time incident (on the field).

The offense is still a first offense for Brady. Therefore his punishment should be in line with other "first offense for performance enhancing."

No. It shouldn't. Illegal substances are covered by the collective bargaining agreement & have their penalties set in stone. What Brady & the Pats did is not.

As I said before, the punishment should make the reward not worth the risk. I would have suspended Brady for the year, especially after all the lying done beforehand. That would be w/the expectation that it would get cut in half on appeal. As it is now, Brady doesn't think it taints the trophy they won. In other words, he'd do it again. It was worth it. Four games is still not enough.
